Dreams
It was a busy day, doing that same monotonous tiring job of completing boss' documents was making him mad. Suddenly he has a thought of leaving all this and running away, he came back to his senses and calmed himself and takes a break. He had a heavy lunch and its effects were about to be shown. Having no mood to do the work, he sits staring at a random success quote which was his wallpaper of the computer. His eyelids were becoming heavy and it became quite difficult for him to keep his eyelids open. A continuous ticking sound of the keyboard keys was somehow hindering him as his mind was slowly and steadily coming to peace. Keeping his elbow on the table & supporting his head, he thinks of his life.
A sudden darkness conquers him and then suddenly he saw a beautiful girl standing right in front of him. The girl was having quite appealing and cute smile, she greeted him and instantly he recognized her and felt driven towards her. She was his office colleague for whom he had attraction for and was day by day falling for her. As he saw her, as she came herself to have a chat with him, he felt proud and a small ray of hope came to his dark world. They talked for a moment or two and suddenly she proposed him.
With this sudden proposal, he lost his senses and stood there dumbstruck as if lightning has struck him, not once or twice by thrice. He for all that time was thinking her as an out of league girl and maintained distance from her, but this sudden proposal has completely changed his thoughts for her as he got to know that the girl has fallen for him. He from the very beginning thought that she deserved someone much better than him and so never confronted her about his feelings. With what she told, he became the happiest person on the earth. He described his side of the story to her and how he felt for her from the moment he saw her first time. Listening that, the girl gave him an awww and instantly hugged him tight.
The girl then broke the embrace and stood very closely to him. Both were looking deeply in each others eyes, completely unaware of the fact that they were at their workplace, the guy saw mischief in girl's eyes and the girl saw passion for her in his eyes. She made an attempt, leaned over him and both felt each others warm breath. Both closed their eyes leaned towards each other and just as their lips were about to touch, the telephone started ringing.
He instantly opened his eyes to found her nowhere. He started searching for her everywhere but failed in that, with the telephone ring constantly hindering his search. The sound increased and suddenly he felt a jerk over his neck, his eyes opened only to allow a pool of light to enter his eyes in full flow. The grip of his hand supporting his head with elbow over the table loosened due to sudden ringing of the phone which caused that jerk over his neck and his head fall down only to be just saved of being hit badly on the table. He came back to his senses, picked up the phone and completed his conversation in a hurry and searched for the girl.
She was sitting at her cubical completely engrossed in her work. He realized his heart was beating slow and he was about to be choked, damn it felt real, he thought. It was a dream and a really nice one. He for a moment was the happiest person on the earth. He for a moment tried to ponder over the matter and guessed why it happened. He thought may be it's God's way of telling him to confront her about his feelings for her and not being a coward and facing the consequences. He sat there deeply thinking about it and lost in his thoughts.
'Dreams' are such nasty things which make you believe that everything is possible even if it may not be. Some say they are the outcome or the sum total of our whole day's experience and thoughts. Dream lets you do everything you want, you can achieve anything in it. You travel to a new world beyond space and time where you can be whatever you want and get everything you ever craved for.
Seeing it in quite different way sometimes dreams are means of fulfilling things. They are mind's way of telling you at a moment which things are more important to you rather than catching a plane that's not meant for you or you are not ready for it at that moment.
Your deepest desires and darkest secrets which can haunt you, by dreams only. Sometimes it tells you what to do and what not to do by simulating the consequences or taking you to different scenarios of the thing. It has the power of showing what you can lose or what you can get by any of your action.
As for the above case , the dream made him realize that it's worth a try to propose the girl he likes, else he would regret it all over his life. So keep dreaming and try to understand and listen to what your dreams say.!!!
