In the previous part, we got to know that seven random people get kidnapped within few weeks and all they had in common was a mark on the left shoulder. Also, all of them were new to the country. The police have no clue about it. The only thin hint with them was a story told by Dr. Martin and they all were in dilemma of the authenticity of the story. They felt an earthquake and were afraid as the entire Earth is at stake. They need to find the man responsible for this and end this once and for all.
Three days ago.....
" Sir, We got the final one, John Winstead. We are bringing him to the location. ", the hired kidnappers told his boss. They reach the location. It was a huge room with computers and servers occupying a lot of space. The tech experts were working on the computers gathering information and keeping an eye on the city. Apart from them, a small team was working on developing a puzzle decoder software. The kidnappers brought John Winstead, his eyes blindfolded and his hands tied and made him seat with the remaining 6 who were kidnapped too.
The boss enters the place and a wicked smile conquers his face as he saw all of them. He begins addressing them," Hello folks, I know what you all might be thinking. I will give an answer to all your questions. There is an ancient story behind this. Let me tell it to you." He tells the entire story to them and then continues," And you seven people here belong to those seven tribes. You all have that mark on your shoulder and I will now get the chest and become the most powerful person in the world. You might be thinking that your great grandfathers didn't tell you about any of this then how can I know about this. It's because I belong to that last tribe, the eighth one who was cruel and dominating. When your great grandparents were worshipping in the cave, my great grandfather came to the cave in the search for you as all the seven tribes were missing. He saw the god gifting you the chest and so he decided to find it. He knew that with the newly found power, your tribe will destroy ours and so my grandfather secretly took our family from the place to far off new place to get settled, leaving behind just his one son out of three to keep an eye on the tribes. Every generation passes this story to the younger generation and the information collected by them during their lifetime is written in this book. But finally, I succeeded in finding you all. Thanks to that professor who researched on the tribes, my work became easier as I bought all his research after he died and I found you all. Now no one can stop me."
The boss looks at his team and tells them," Get those mark from all their body and solve the puzzle with the new software you built. How much time would it take." The team leader told," Maybe sir a day or two." The boss ordered him," Complete all this in a day and find the exact position of the chest in the Appalachian mountains. Equip a team with weapons as we might need them to fight the tribe who might be guarding the place. Work fast, I don't like to wait."
A day passed and they finally decoded the puzzle and got the exact location of the chest. The leader called the boss," Sir, we are good to go. Once we reach the place, we will take care of the tribe and once we find the chest, we will inform you. " The team went to the Appalachian mountains. The tribe guarding the place was less in number as some of them have left the place and moved to the city in search of better future. They killed the entire tribe guarding the place and after a massive effort, they finally found the place. The chest was beautiful, with intricate design on the top and gems studded on the design, increasing its beauty. The place was glowing with the colors of the gems as sunlight fell on them and got reflected. The leader informed the boss and the boss arrived. He became very excited seeing the chest as all his grandparents' effort was not wasted and he of all of them found the chest. He felt proud of himself. He thought to check if the chest created the thing he asks for and so he opened the chest. As he opened the chest, the entire area was gulped by a yellow light for quite some time. Then he asked for it. He told to create two pink diamonds which were rare and expensive, and then he closed the chest. They all felt a jerk below their legs as if the chest started creating the diamonds. A few hours later, they felt as if the surface below their leg was moving and they all felt dizziness, the mountain shook hard and they all felt an earthquake, that no one had experienced before. Suddenly everything stopped and the chest opened itself. The boss peeked inside to find two pink diamonds in it. The boss was so overwhelmed with it that he started dancing and showing how happy he was. His mind showed him flashes of his near future where he can create anything he wants and people will worship him like the god.
Meanwhile at the police precinct,
Nicolai: Are every one of you okay?
Dr. Martin: It was a great earthquake. I have never felt such an earthquake before.
James Godwin: I think they have found the chest and maybe they started creating things.
Simon Reid: We need to find them, everyone's life is at stake now.
Harris: Everyone please come here, I think I got a way to find them.
Nicolai: What is it?
Harris: I was going through the details of all the kidnapped people. I was collecting the information about the time after they came here. All of them were new in this country. But I found something fishy in this. They all were purposely called for. All of them were offered a job and all their expenses of traveling and shifting here were borne by the company which offered the job. But most of the time, this is not done by any company or organization unless you are some top shot, but these are all common people. So I delve more into this and I found that all these job proposals were indirectly sent by only one company. All job of this six different people in various regions of America was funded by one common company. So all their cost of traveling and settling was indirectly sponsored by this common company.
Nicolai: Which company?
Harris: Tressler Corp. The head of it is George Tressler. There definitely is some connection with this kidnapping, as to why will a company sponsor for such common people.
Nicolai: We have got our man Harris. Nice work. Sir, Simon Reid we would need some serious backup with your guys. Can you make a team ready?
Simon Reid: I can make a team ready, but I need to tell all this to the Pentagon first. You find out where they all are, till then I see what I can do.

Simon Reid: Just give me few minutes.
Nicolai: Harris, Inform the local police to go there, do the checks and cover the ground.

Nicolai: Looks like our hunch is right. We need to be there as fast we could. Simon, tell your team to reach there as soon as they could.

Simon Reid: We don't know how many attackers would be there, but we need to save those 7 people. Team, just stay alert and safely bring them back.

The team came out with those 7 kidnapped people who looked pale and were shaking with fear. The paramedic team quickly got into action. Nicolai went to talk to one of them and he got the information that George Tressler was behind all this and he belongs to the cruel tribe. He also got to know that the research of the professor was bought by George Tressler and he already found the place in the Appalachian mountains. Nicolai asked his tech team to go through the computers and get the location of the chest. They got the location and as they were discussing this, they felt another earthquake. It was more devastating than the previous one. Even the warehouse also fell down.
Nicolai: Simon Reid, you need to arrange some air support, we can't reach the mountains early by road. We are running late.
Simon Reid: I see what I can do. It's not a case of kidnapping anymore. It's a case of national security. I need to involve everyone into this, including the President.
Nicolai: Whatever you do, do it fast. Also, tell them to quickly take action, we don't have much time.
Dr. Martin: Professor James, what do you think how much time we have?
James Godwin: I don't know Dr, It all depends on what thing that psycho is creating. But if I need to take a guess, we have maximum 24 hours. After that, the earth surface will start splitting and entire countries can get engulfed into the core.
Simon Reid: I just got the message, the air support is on its way. We need to quickly reach the local air base.

The choppers were flying and they reached the Appalachian mountain range. The team moved furiously, they can see the dead bodies of the tribe as they got ahead to the location. As they entered the entrance, they got engaged in the firing. The Tressler corp. has called some serious gunmen for the protection. Somehow after a fierce fight with those men, they reached the spot. They can see George Tressler and his team near the chest and George was baffled seeing the police and the secret service team.
George: Welcome folks, How can I help you?
Nicolai: George Tressler, your game is over now. We know all about the tribe, the kidnapping, and the chest. Do you know with this you can destroy the whole earth?
George: I know, but I need to take that chance. I want to be the God people worship.
James Godwin: What are you creating now, George?
George: That's an intelligent question. I am creating Astatine, a tonne of it. You are late by a few minutes. I just told the chest to create it. Had you been earlier, we could have mutually decided what to create.
James Godwin: Seriously, Astatine? That's the rarest material on Earth. There is 30 grams of it in Earth crust, that too it naturally decays after some time. What have you done? You have just called for a global apocalypse. How will the earth be able to create so much of Astatine. All the energy will be used and still it wouldn't be able to create so much of Astatine. The earth is going to blow. We have less than 8 hours before we all die.
Dr. Martin: James, think about a way out. We have less time. Can't we stop the process?
And they felt it again. This time more powerful than the previous two. Also, the mountain is notwithstanding so much energy. The stones are falling and it seems that in no time the entire mountain will collapse. They can feel the energy sucked in from below their feet and it seemed as if the energy voids were being created.
James Godwin: We can't undo the process once started. We need to think of something else. Also, the mountain can fall anytime.
Nicolai: Can we destroy the chest? If the chest will be destroyed then the process will automatically stop.
James Godwin: Not really, we can't destroy it because it has so much energy in it that our weapons would have no effect on it. But yes I have got an idea. We need to shift the chest.
Dr. Martin: What do you mean by shift?
James Godwin: We need to take this chest out of the Earth's atmosphere. The chest gets its energy due to its contact with the earth's surface. If we move the chest out of earth's surface, it no longer would be able to suck the energy and we can destroy it.
Dr. Martin: Sounds like we can try, but how will we be able to do that?
Simon Reid: I know how. We need to first with the help of something split the chest from the stone, it is standing on. Then with this state of the art aircraft in which we came which is capable of travelling out of the earth's atmosphere, we can carry the chest outside the earth's atmosphere and with the help of Shamacker, the new missile which is capable to reaching anywhere on the earth, we can destroy the chest once it is on the brink of exiting the earth's atmosphere.
Nicolai: Are you sure we can do it successfully.
Simon: We need to try, we don't have anything else which we can do.
The surface below them was vibrating fiercely and the mountain was collapsing. The stones and boulders we falling and they need to take out the chest as soon as possible, otherwise, they all will die. Everyone came out of the mountain except for the team. George Tressler didn't want to leave the chest and so he resisted. Turned out that a heavy stone fell on him and he died on the spot. The team tied the heavy ropes with the chest and fixed another end with the helicopter. They started throwing grenades and firing rocket launchers from outside the mountain in order to separate the chest from the stone. The helicopter was tightly fixed and it was exerting force too so that it can lift the chest and separate it from the stone. As they tried and finally a crack develop in the stone. They targeted the crack and fired on it. The crack became bigger and after some time with constant firing, the chest was separated from the stone. As the stone and chest split up, a heavy gust of energy covered the entire area and the mountain collapsed. Fortunately, the helicopter was handled properly and they got the chest out in time. They quickly reached the base and the chest was loaded in the aircraft.
The pilot was given the instructions as of when he has to turn the autopilot and jump from the aircraft. On the other side, the permission to destroy the aircraft with the Shamacker missile was also given. It was on standby.
The weather was getting worse. They were constantly getting jerks of the quake and apart from that a turbulence was being developed in the ocean which can create a massive tsunami. Also, there were chances of a tornado as the air was whirling too hard. Also, reports were coming from people frightened due to such unexpected events happening from across the globe. It was going to be difficult for the pilot to fly the aircraft. They all were frightened and praying the god to save them.
The aircraft took off. The contact with the pilot was established. He was finding it difficult to fly the aircraft. And somehow he managed to reach the point and turned on autopilot, set the course and left the aircraft. The missile was launched. It was on its trajectory to hit the aircraft as it left the earth. As soon as the aircraft left the earth's surface, the missile hit the aircraft and destroyed the aircraft along with the chest. At that moment the entire sky turned green as if lot of energy was released. Had it been inside the earth's atmosphere it could have done great damage. And suddenly everything became silent. They jerks stopped, the turbulence settled and the wind became mild again.
Everyone hugged each other, felt relieved as they have saved the day. They have done a great job. Had they not done anything, the earth might have blown and no one might have known the reason behind this. All credit goes to Dr. Martin, for helping the police, Nicolai, for handling the case so maturely, and James Godwin for the idea which saved all the people of earth. The President gave them the award and wished them luck in the future endeavors.
